Sterling Street Backyard Garden

Situated in the Prospect Lefferts Garden section of Brooklyn, we designed this backyard for a young couple growing their family. We modified an existing - but not functional - deck to accommodate a built-in grilling station with a bench across. The beautiful brick wall at the end of the yard presented an opportunity for a wide table and a built-in bench seating along the length of the wall. A mixture of blue stone, gravel and cedar contrast with the green grass in the middle of the yard. More photos to follow when the perimeter plantings have been added.
